WHY IN THE WORLD IS THERE A NEED TO REDESIGN THE BRIDGE? THERE ARE OTHER THINGS IN THE TOWN THAT WOULD DESERVE MORE ATTENTION. WHY NOT SPEND THE MONEY ON THE OLD HIGH SCHOOL ON NORTH 6th STREET TO RESTORE IT??? IT WOULD BE FOOLISH TO SPEND ANY MONEY ON THE BRIDGE. THE STATE JUST WORKED ON THE BRIDGE ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO WHEN THEY CHANGED IT FROM 4 LANES OF TRAFFIC DOWN TO 2 LANES OF TRAFFIC WHICH WAS A PISS-POOR THING TO DO AS WAS THE STATE CHANGIBG CENTRAL AVE. FROM 4 LANES TO 2 LANES. WHY DID NOT THE STATE CHANGE HWY 71 THRU SPENCER FROM 4 LANES TO 2 LANES???
