Izaak Walton League national director Marion Striegel will meet with Emmet County club members at 7 tonight at the Estherville Public Library community room.

Clifford Roth, Emmet County Izaac Walton League president, said Striegel is one of several national directors.

Members will also discuss the upcoming gun show Jan. 31-Feb. 1 at the Armstrong Community Center. The show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Roth said this is the 20th annual show that the local Izaac Walton chapter has sponsored.

Local chapter memberships are $61 a year and are effective Jan. 1. Members may may a slightly additional amount to join at this time to cover membership costs for the remainder of 2008.

The Emmet County Izaac Walton League has a target range for pistol, archery, rifle and shotgun use. The range is located near the east edge of Fort Defiance State Park.
