The Relay For Life of Emmet County, under the guidance of their fundraising committee, is now releasing their limited edition lithography collector prints.

Speltz Studio of Wildlife of Armstrong has been commissioned to paint a collector's picture depicting a relay local area scene. The painting will showcase the picturesque library. The romantic summer sunset scene has the beautifully rendered building and activities painted in fun-to-view detail. From this original, a low number of regular edition prints and artist proofs will be made. The group will sell these prints for only $35 and hopes to raise over $3,000 for their efforts. Speltz Studio artwork has raised over $2.5 million for Midwest groups. These prints can be personalized with the customer's choice of pencil remarque sketch.

J.D. Speltz is a 10-time state stamp and three-time national print award winner. The binding similarity in all Speltz Studio paintings would be the drama or story that each tells. In every painting there is a number of small sparrows somewhere on the canvas. The 14 sparrows in this original represent the years of Emmet County Relay For Life. The image is 10-by-15 inches and goes into a 16-by-20-sized frame when matted. Look up speltzstudio.com to view new releases.

Please consider this an excellent way to help the committee and receive back a little memory in art form for your contribution. Please call Speltz Studio of Wildlife at 1-712-868-3001 or contact a Relay For Life member to fill your order quickly. Early sales help the group earn incentive gifts and the original oil painting. All deluxe framed prints ordered by Nov. 28 will also receive a T-shirt with the print on it in color.
