If you really want to get into the Christmas spirit, Estherville is the place to be tonight.

During the Chocolate Walk from 4-8 p.m. downtown Estherville merchants will offer chocolate goodies galore. It's a great way to see what's new for Christmas at area merchants plus satisfy your chocolate fetish at the same time.

The Parade of Lights will take place on Central Avenue running east from Fifth Street to 13th Street. The parade will usher in the holiday season in Estherville and herald the delivery of Santa's house to Library Square. Santa Claus will be the last entry in the parade line-up. All are invited to come out and enjoy the Chocolate Walk and stay for the Parade of Lights.

Santa Claus will visit with children in his house during the Snow Globes Winter Festival 6-8 p.m. Dec. 3, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday Dec. 5, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 12, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17 and 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 19.
