Graettinger/Terril hosted its season opening Jamboree on Friday Six area teams competed in the showcase: Estherville Lincoln Central, Graettinger/Terril, Spirit Lake, Harris-Lake Park, North Sentral Kossuth and Bishop Garrigan.

ELC matched up against G/T in the marquee matchup. The Knights emerged victorious over the Midgets, 34-29.

Jeremy Hunt and Spencer Johnson led ELC with six points each. Marcus Christensen added five points for the Midgets.

G/T was led by Cody Dyhrkopp with 14 points. He was followed by Beau Craig with nine and Eric Hatland with four.

Spirit Lake left Graettinger with a 37-28 win over NSK.

Drew Dau led the Indians with 15 points and Sawyer Harms added seven.

The Midgets open their season against Forest City next Friday in Forest City.

G/T hosts Harris-Lake Park and Spirit Lake hosts South O'Brien on Tuesday.
