ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Deborah J. Weideman, 18, of Estherville will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville with Pastor Paul Wiegman officating. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Manson. She died Thursday, Feb. 4, in an automobile accident near Graettinger.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Monday at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville.
Deborah Jean Weideman, the daughter of Thomas and Renee (Gerth) Weideman, was born Dec. 4, 1991, in Estherville.
She received her education in the Estherville schools, graduating from Estherville Lincoln Central at the semester of 2010 school year. Currently Debbie was attending Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg majoring in nursing.
Debbie served as a lifeguard at the Regional Wellness Center and the outdoor Estherville Pool. She was a member of the swim team for all four years that she was in high school. She also participated in Speech and Drama Team and was a cheerleader. Debbie loved the outdoors and was very adventurous. She enjoyed motorcycles and snowmobiling with her brothers.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Estherville.
Left to cherish Debbie's memory are her mom, Renee Weideman; brothers, Bob and Joe Weideman of Estherville; her adopted grandparents, Dwane and Eileen Junkman; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding Debbie in death were her dad, Tom, and her paternal and maternal grandparents, Bill and Tina Weideman and Gene and Delores Gerth.
