Katie is a 2001 graduate of Estherville Lincoln Central High School and Travis is a 2000 graduate of Jackson County Central High School, Jackson, Minn.
Parents of the bride are Terry and Gail Nelson of Estherville. Parents of the groom are Dave Carter of Jackson and Sharon Carter of Milford.
