Strong winds damaged trees in three areas of Estherville Monday.
City street department foreman Jeff Schmaus said tree damage occurred on North 14th Street, North Eighth at Seventh Avenue and South 15th Street. The damage occurred Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
Schmaus said the damage included large limbs and that no trees were destroyed. He said damage was limited to trees themselves with no additional damage to structures, powerlines or vehicles.
