Pioneer Day will be held again this year at Peterson Point historic farmstead, just south of the Emmet County Nature Center east of Wallingford.
This year's event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Features include the Buffalo Ridge Renegades rendezvous reenactment group which will demonstrate blacksmithing and woodcarving.
Inside the historic Peterson Point farmhouse, there will be spinning and quilting demonstrations. Hot dogs, Polish sausages and deer hot dogs with all the trimmings will be available.
There will be plenty of activities for the kids and members of the Estherville Art Center will be doing fun activities as well.
The Black Knights Car Club will also have a display of classic cars for everyone's enjoyment.
Parking this year will be at the farmstead. So come on down and enjoy some good old pioneer fun!
