MASON CITY - A 15-0 run by North Iowa Area Community College helped the hosts take a 61-49 victory over the Iowa Lakes women on Saturday.
After trailing 29-26 at half-time, the Lakers still trailed, 35-30, when the Trojans started their run to take a 50-30 lead.
Noelle Kindred led the Lakers with 12 points while Samera Williams had nine, Amber Grengs and Ashleigh Dykes each had eight, Emma-Kate Gibson had six, Kendra Venson had five and Viviana Casildo had one.
Iowa Lakes (5-14 overall, 0-9 in Region XI) hosts Des Moines Area Community College at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Estherville.
