ESTHERVILLE - Funeral services for Virginia O. Conway, 90, of Estherville will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, 2012, at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville with Pastor Lynn Elrod officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel in Estherville. Interment will be at Harrison Township Cemetery in Swea City.
She died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society in Estherville.
Virginia O. (Molan) Conway, the daughter of Ole T. and Lillie M. (Bishop) Molan, was born July 21, 1921, in Swea City.

She received her education in the Swea City schools, graduating from Swea City High School.
On April 16, 1943, Virginia was united in marriage to Harold Conway. The couple made their home in Swea City where they began to raise their family. Virginia was employed at the Swea City Herald and Telex Corp. Harold died in 1983. In the 1980's Virginia moved to Terril and later to Estherville where she has made her home for the last 20 years. In her leisure time Virginia enjoyed flowers, butterflies and birds. She was very involved in RSVP. She took great pride in her family, baking their favorites and also attending their activities and events as long as she was able.
Virginia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Estherville. Previously while living in Swea City she had been a member of the Baptist Church. Virginia was always active in her church.
Left to cherish Virginia's memory are her son, Roger Conway, of Terril; daughter, Peggy Young, and her husband, David, of Wallingford; five grandchildren, Jodi Peta and her husband, Al, Kenna Conway, Derek Young and his wife, Janette, Sonya Gjerde and her husband, Eric and Molly O'Hara and her husband, Mike; her great-grandchildren, Amanda and Alex Oleson, Dylan, Dalton and Donovan Young, Carson and Mya Gjerde and Gannon and Gradyn O'Hara and brother, Orville "Bud" Molan and his wife, DeMaris, of Dakota City, Iowa.
