EMMETSBURG - The Estherville Lincoln Central Boys Track Team continued to show progress at the E'Hawk Relays in Emmetsburg on Tuesday.
Gable Bonner had the lone top finish for the Midgets.
The senior threw a career-best 128 feet, 9 inches to win the discus.

He also threw his best in the shot put with a throw of 47 feet, 3 3/4 inches.
ELC got additional points in the shot put as Chase Bonner placed sixth with a throw of 42 feet, 7 inches.
Another highlight of the night was the ELC medley relay team, which took second in a season-best time of 3 minutes, 48.8 seconds. Coach Barrett said each member of the foursome-Alec Wycoff, Billy Snyder, Matt Burrell and Tyler Swanson-ran a season-best time in the event.
"I'm happy with Gable's throws-and the junior varsity guys also threw well," said Barrett. "The medley team took four seconds off their time, so I'm very happy with them too."
ELC had another second-place finish as Rodrick Fuller finished the 1600-meter run in 4:55.7. Blake Gjerde placed sixth in the event in 5:08.
Joe Heinrichs finished third in the 3200-meter run in 11:04.
ELC went 3-4 in the 400-meter dash as Alex Blomquist finished third in 52.7 seconds and Swanson took fourth in 53.27 seconds.
Also fourth was the shuttle hurdle relay team of Justin Heinrichs, Michael McCauley, Wycoff and Spenser Diekmann. They ran a season-best time of 1:05.4.
"The shuttle hurdle team continues to show progress," said Barrett.
Blomquist also took fourth in the 80-meter run in 2:06.4.
An all-freshmen 4x400-meer relay team also took fourth. Justin Heinrichs, Zach Roach, Zain Dostal and Joel McCoy finished in 3:54.9.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Gjerde, Dostal, Roach and Christensen placed fourth in 9:59.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Ivan Esteves, Bryce Hansen, Diekmann and Angel Diaz took fifth in 50.5 seconds.
Diekmann also placed sixth in the 400-meter low hurdles in 62.48 seconds.
ELC will host the 91st Running of the Estherville Relays this Thursday.
"We're hoping for good weather and a big crowd," said Barrett.
