With Spirit Lake-Okoboji missing its to player, the Estherville Lincoln Central girls picked up one match win in an 8-1 loss on Monday.
At the No. 1 singles, ELC's Bailey Hagen defeated Hannah Coenen 10-5.
ELC's next closest match was at the No. 2 singles as Corin Swalve lost 10-5 to Rachel Westergard.
"I thought Corin and Bailey played really well and hit as well as they have all year," said ELC coach Larry Kirchner.
The coach said Swalve had several games go to deuce, but she couldn't quite finish them out.
In other singles matches, Kelly Zebedee lost 10-1 to Margaret Delaney, Emily Chrestiansen lost 10-0 to Olivia Rohlk, Maddy Burns lost 10-2 to Amanda Bueltel and Mackenzie Wilson lost 10-1 to Heather Sorenson.
In doubles play, Hagen and Swalve lost 10-3 to Coenen and Westegard; Zebedee and Chrestiansen lost 10-0 to Natalie Delaney and Rohlk and Burns and Amber Schacherer lost 10-3 to Margaret Delaney and Bueltel.
In junior varsity play, ELC lost 8-1.
Samantha Rosinger earned an 8-3 victory at the No. 1 singles.
In other singles matches, Morgan Schubert lost 8-5, Emily Jorgenson lost 8-6, Dragica Dimova lost 8-6, Rachel Mueller lost 8-1 and Laura Perez lost 8-6.
In doubles, Wilson and Schubert lost 9-8 (8-6); Rosinger and Caitlin Weber lost 8-0 and Dimova and Mueller lost 8-1.
ELC travels to Spencer Saturday for Class 1A Regional Play.
On Saturday, ELC was at the Spencer Tournament.
In singles, Hagen placed fifth, Swalve placed fourth, Chrestiansen placed sixth, Rosinger placed fourth and Jorgenson placed fourth.
In doubles, Hagen and Swalve finished fourth. Chrestiansen played with a Spirit Lake-Okoboji girl and finished fifth at the No. 2 doubles. Jorgenson and Rosinger placed sixth.
