Spirit Lake's Brandon Stoll was near perfect in a two-hit shut out against Estherville Lincoln Central on Friday.
The Indians played perfect defense behind him and Stoll struck out nine batters without giving up a walk as the visitors won 12-0.
The Midgets' only chance to score came in the second inning. Joe Clayton hit a two-out single. Tyler Swanson followed with a single to right-center. Although the ball was bobbled in the outfield, a perfect throw to catcher Nic Amudson arrived in time to get Clayton trying to score.
