Estherville Lincoln Central may be gaining some momentum after a sweep of Cherokee on Monday.
Behind a one-hit outing by Tucker Milburn, ELC took game one 6-0. Joe Clayton gave up just three hits in the second game, a 6-1 Midget victory.
In the first game, ELC broke open a 1-0 game in the fifth inning with four runs.

Milburn drew a walk, Gable Bonner singled and Clayton drew a walk. One run scored when Derek Nieland reached on a fielder's choice. Matt Burrell drew a walk. Adam Reiter singled to drive in a run and two more scored on a Brave error.
Milburn had five strikeouts in the win.
At the plate, Bonner was 2-3. Reiter was 2-4 with two RBIs. Milburn was 2-4 with a double and Nieland was 1-3. Clayton and Burrell each drew three walks in the contest.
ELC scored in the first inning of the second game with Billy Snyder recording the RBI single.
ELC survived a fourth inning in which Clayton walked three straight batters with two outs before getting out of the inning.
In the fifth inning, Clayton needed just four pitches to get three outs with a grounder to second, a grounder back to Clayton and a pop up to center fielder Nieland.
In the sixth inning, Cherokee took advantage of a couple more walks and eventually tied the game with a run.
Prior to the sixth inning, ELC had seven hits, but only one run to show for it.
The Midgets then got some help from Cherokee's pitchers.
Evan Hansen was hit by a pitch and Tyler Swanson then hit a sacrifice bunt. However both Snyder and Milburn were hit by pitches to load the bases and Bonner drew a walk to score the first run.
Clayton helped his own cause with a two-run single and Nieland followed with a two-run single of his own to give the Midgets a 6-1 advantage.
Clayton and the ELC defense set the Braves down in order in the seventh inning-a grounder to shortstop and pop flies to center and left.
Clayton had four strikeouts with five walks and one hit batter.
At the plate, Clayton was 2-3 with two RBIs, Snyder was 2-3 with an RBI, Nieland was 2-4 with two RBIs, Milburn was 1-2 and Burrell and Hansen each went 1-3.
ELC (8-10 overall) is home against Western Christian on Wednesday.
