The Spirit Lake Baseball Team defeated Spencer 9-2 on Friday.
Paul Brown limited the Tigers to two earned runs on two hits with five strikeouts and three walks.
Spirit Lake had nine hits in the contest. Brown was 2-3 with an RBI and Casey Jones was 2-4 with an RBI.
Brandon Stoll came up with the bit hit though, a three-run home run as he went 1-3.
Nic Amudson was 1-1 while Tate Hanson was 1-2 and Zach Herrig and Andrew Ites each went 1-4. Hanson had an RBI.
Spirit Lake (15-5 overall) hosted LeMars on Monday. The Indians host Estherville Lincoln Central on Wednesday.
