TERRIL - The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Softball Team dropped a pair of games to West Bend-Mallard on Monday.
The Wolverines won game one 13-1 in five innings and the second game 8-4.
Hoffman pitched five innings in the first game and gave up 13 runs (two earned) on five hits with four strikeouts and eight walks.
GT/RA had just three hits. Hoffman was 1-3 while Marly Bakken and Nikki Brown each went 1-2.
Hoffman pitched game two also. This time she gave up eight runs (three earned) on six hits with five strikeouts and eight walks.
GT/RA finished with 11 hits. Bakken was 4-4 while Grace Skattebo was 2-2 and Hailley Nelson was 2-4. Nelson had two RBIs while Skattebo and Amanda Aeilts each had one.
GT/RA (12-19 overall, 3-6 in the Cornbelt Conference) is on the road against Sibley-Ocheyedan on Thursday.
