SWEA CITY - The North Union Softball Team had little trouble with visiting Harris-Lake Park in a Cornbelt Conference doubleheader on Monday.
The Warriors pounded out 17 hits in each contest, a 12-0, four-inning victory in game one and a 10-0, five-inning victory in game two.
Allie Ingalls pitched the first shutout, a no-hitter with eight strikeouts.
At the plate, Cheyanne Boland was 3-4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs.
Ingalls was 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI. Dena Looft was 3-3 with a double and an RBI and Harley Lindell was 3-3 with a double and two RBIs.
Collete Haag was 2-3. Sara Johnson and Jasmine Clausen each had two RBIs. Clausen was 1-3 with a double.
Ingalls also pitched the second game. She again struck out eight batters while giving up one hit and one walk.
At the plate, Ingalls, Tori Johnson, Boland and Haag all went 3-4. Ingalls had two doubles while the other three each had one.
However, Looft hit the long ball as she was 2-3 with a home run and six RBIs.
North Union (28-4 overall) hosted Lake Mills on Tuesday. The Warriors are off until tournament play when then host the winner of Sioux Central and Okoboji at 7 p.m., Thursday, July 5 in Swea City.
