ELC?JV?baseball earns 9-1 win
SPIRIT LAKE - The Estherville Lincoln Central Junior Varsity Baseball Team defeated Spirit Lake 9-1 on Wednesday.
Corey Reeves was the winning pitcher. He pitched six innings and struck out 11 while giving up one hit with two walks and two hit batters.
At the plate, Reeves was 3-4. Alec Wycoff went 2-3 with three runs and five stolen bases. Tim Greving was 2-3 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI. Austin Egeland was 2-2 with a run. Riley Strenge was 1-3 with three runs and three stolen bases.

SPIRIT LAKE - The Estherville Lincoln Central Junior Varsity Softball Team defeated Spirit Lake 8-4 on Wednesday.
Liz Brashear was the winning pitcher. She pitched five innings and gave up four runs (three earned) on four hits with five strikeouts and five walks.
Offensively, Brashear was 2-2 an RBI. Sarah Schacherer was 1-3 with a double and two RBIs. Caron Gjerde was 1-2 with a run and an RBI.
