The Estherville Lincoln Central Junior Varsity Baseball Team ended its season with a 9-9 tie against Emmetsburg on Friday. The game was called due to a time limit on JV games.
Austin Egeland pitched six innings and gave up nine runs (three earned) on 11 hits with four strikeouts and three walks.
Riley Strenge was 3-3 with three runs and two stolen bases. Justin Frederick was 3-3 with a run and three RBIs. Corey Reeves was 3-4 with an RBI. Alec Wycoff was 1-2 with three runs and a stolen base.
The ELC JV finishes the season with an 8-6-1 record. The junior varsity coach is Trent Prather.
