If you've been wanting to see classic cars lately, this is your lucky week. The Black Knights Car Club of Estherville is putting on quite a show - both at home and on the road.
After making appearances Wednesday at the annual flight breakfast at the Estherville Airport and at the Fourth of July car show in Armstrong, members are planning for a cruise-in today at Arnolds Park. And then there's the monthly cruise-in starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Library Square. There will also be a meal served for a $5 donation with proceeds going to Relay for Life.
Members will also be taking part in the Bully Bullhead weekend car show in Ruthven and on Sunday they'll go to Winthrop, Minn., for the Farm City Fun Fest Car Show.
If this all sounds like a grueling schedule, it is. But the Black Knights are a great bunch of guys and gals who love nothing better than having the public turn out to view the love of their life - and sometimes they bring their wife or husband along too. They're a regular contributor to many local worthy causes.
So if you want to have a great time, check out one of these great events.
And if you're a collector yourself, consider attending a Black Knights Car Club meeting 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month at the Estherville VFW. Or check out their website at: www.blackknightscarclub.net
