Storytime at the library

August 17, 2012
By Michael Tidemann - Staff Writer , Estherville Daily News

Storytime at the Estherville Public Library Friday saw some young faces, some middle-young faces and some young-at-heart faces.

Storytime is held every Friday starting at 10:30 a.m. and Mondays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, contact the Estherville Public library at 362-7731. Storytime will be canceled in case of inclement weather.

If you're an avid reader, you might also be interested in the Estherville Public Library Book Club which meets noon to 1 p.m. the first Thursday of every month in the Sanborn Kafe in the library basement. Books are provided free of charge, and it's a great way to read new authors and meet other people.

One of the newest additions to the library is Mango Languages, a great way to learn how to speak a foreign language. You can learn conversational skills in over 40 languages.

If you like e-books, check out the library's e-book collection. If they don't have it, you can ask for it.
