The Emmet County Board of Supervisors Tuesday approved a final plat for the four-acre Blinkmann Heights Subdivision on the east shore of Ingham Lake in Section 12 of High Lake Township.
Zoning director Dar Lewis said if the board approved the subdivision it would not have to be approved by the Emmet County Planning and Zoning Board or require a public hearing.
After approving the plat, the supervisors heard from county engineer Roger Patocka who said crews had been blading, mowing, repairing guardrails after bridges were inspected earlier this summer and putting gravel on mailbox turnouts.
Patocka said A34 west of Ringsted will be patched Sept., 10 - a one-day job.
Patocka said he will also address the issue of dust caused by trucks hauling gravel.
