RUTHVEN - It was another rough night for the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire football team in the Titans' first home game in Ruthven on Friday.
GT/RA gave up three fumbles. The Titans also saw both an interception and a blocked punt returned for touchdowns in a 43-8 loss to Remsen-Union.
GT/RA was able to keep the game close for most of the first half.

The Rockets struck on a 7-yard pass in the first quarter and added a two-point conversion to lead 8-0.
In the second quarter, the visitors blocked a punt and returned it 8 yards for the score.
Before half-time, the Rockets scored on a 26-yard pass to take a 22-0 lead.
In the third quarter, Remsen-Union scored on a 2-yard run and then picked off a Blaze Alesch pass and returned in 47 yards for the touchdown.
Trailing 36-0 in the fourth quarter, the Titans finally got on the board on a 3-yard touchdown run by Carter Williamson. He then added the two-point conversion.
Remsen-Union responded by returning the ensuing kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown.
The Titans struggled to move the ball most of the night. They had 75 yards on 43 carries. Williamson ran the ball 12 times for 38 yards while Kyle Dalen carried the ball 13 times for 29 yards.
Alesch was 4-of-9 passing for 89 yard. Williamson caught two passes for 37 yards, Garrett Parker caught one pass for 47 yards and Dalen caught a pass for 5 yards.
Defensively, Mason McGrauth had eight tackles, Dalen had six, and Cody Thompson and Williamson each had five tackles.
Ryan Jacks recovered a fumble.
GT/RA (0-2 overall) is on the road against Laurens-Marathon next Friday.
