EMMETSBURG - The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire volleyball team posted a 1-3 record at the Emmetsburg Tournament this past weekend.
The Titans lost 2-1 to Emmetsburg and 2-0 to Storm Lake and Bishop Garrigan in pool play. But GT/RA then won the consolation game 2-1 over Emmetsburg in the rematch.
Katie Noah had 16 digs in the win against Emmetsburg.
The Titans missed just four serves in that match with Alyssa Hoffman going 15-for-15 with four aces and Cassy Hampson going 12-for-13 with two aces.
On Monay, the Titans traveled to Sibley for the Sibley-Ocheyedan Tournament. They lost 2-1 to Sibley-Ocheyedan and 2-0 to Okoboji.
Against the Generals, Grace Skattebo had four kills and four blocks. Noah had five blocks. Marly Bakken had four kills against Okoboji.
GT/RA (2-9 overall) was at home against Harris-Lake Park on Tuesday.
The team hosts the Ruthven-Tournament on Saturday.
