"This was a new tournament for us. It's been four years since we last played in this tournament," said Iowa Lakes coach Andy Soper. "It's a narrow hilly course and the guys had to hit it good. Overall we struggled on the course that didn't play very long. Ben played well and it was good to see that in a tough field. Many of the teams that were there make up the national tournament on both the Division 1 and Division 2 sides."
Next action for the Lakers will be Sunday, Sept. 23 at Brooks National Golf Club in Okoboji for the Iowa Lakes Men's and Women's Fall Invitational. Tee times start at 10 a.m.
