Titans looking for a homecoming win

GRAETTINGER - With both Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire and CAL-Latimer entering tonight's game in Graettinger without a victory, it's assured one will get in the win column.

The Titans have high expectations, as it's their homecoming. Game time is 7 p.m. in Graettinger.

GT/RA looks better on the stat sheet.

While CAL has only scored one touchdown in four games, the Titans have scored in each of their contests.

GT/RA also has better statics with Blaze Alesch passing for 236 yards and rushing for 165. Carter Williamson has rushed for 197 yards and Kyle Dalen has 87 yards.

CAL only has 118 yards through the air. Andrew Quinones has most of their rushing yardage with 240 yards on 37 carries.

"Offensively, they try a little bit of everything," GT/RA coach Todd Hough said of CAL.

For his team, Hough said they're still trying to eliminate mistakes and get the offense going.

"We need to get some drives and get points on the board," he said. "Our defense played a good game last week, but our offense couldn't put any drives together."

Even though the Titans look better on paper, Hough said his team can't take anything for granted.

"We don't want to get overconfident," he said.
