LAKE CITY - Spirit Lake had little trouble with East Sac County in a 54-14 win on Friday.
Cody Poock carried the ball six times for 90 yards and three touchdowns, the longest one coming on a 56 yard run. Poock also caught three passes for 32 yards including a 6-yard touchdown.
Quarterback Paul Brown was 7-of-10 passing for 131 yards and four touchdowns.
Andrew Ites carried the ball three times for 83 yards and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass.
Trevor Jensen caught two passes for 34 yards while Casey Spaeth caught two passes for 64 yards including a 47-yard touchdown. Tyler Peterson caught a 10-yard touchdown pass and Axel Johnson caught one pass for eight yards.
The Spirit Lake defense limited the Raiders to 60 yards on the ground. Ty Jacobsen did complete 11-of-31 passes for 125 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Both scores came after the Indians had built a 54-0 half-time lead.
Tanner Croon, Petersen and Poock each had five tackles. Kroon, Sean Kondrath, Brady Mart, Poock and Brody Roberts each had a sack.
Spirit Lake (5-1 overall, 2-1 in district play) hosts Clarion-Goldfield this Friday.
