DICKENS - A Ruthven man was charged after being involved in an injury accident late Tuesday afternoon north of Dickens, according to a release from the Clay County Sheriff's Department.
At about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Calvin Pomeroy, 20, of Ruthven was traveling east on 340th Street in a 1993 Dodge W-250 pickup and failed to obey a stop sign at the intersection of 290th Ave. A 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager driven by Jason Greiner, 35, of Dickens struck Pomeroy in the passenger side.
Pomeroy was placed under arrest for driving with a suspended license and transported to the Clay County jail where he was charged with driving while suspended and failure to obey a stop sign.
