The Estherville Lincoln Central junior varsity football team ended its season with a 40-0 win over Emmetsburg to finish the 2012 season with a 4-2-1 record.
Justin Heinrichs began the scoring by returning a fumble 80 yards for the score. He then passed to Carsten Bosch for the two-point conversion.
Justin then connected with brother Joe on a 17-yard pass for the next touchdown. Avery Hansen ran in the two-point conversion.
Justin Heinrichs then scored on a 1-yard run and threw to Joe for the two-point conversion .
The two brothers connected two more times for the next eight points-a 50-yard pass followed by the two-point conversion.
Hansen got in the act again with a 76-yard run. Justin Heinrichs then threw the two-point conversion pass to Zach Humble to complete the scoring.
ELC frosh defeat E'Hawks
The Estherville Lincoln Central freshmen earned their second win of the season with a 30-0 drubbing of Emmetsburg on Monday.
Hunter King scored on a 22-yard reception from Danny Christensen. Mark Paulson added the two-point conversion.
Christensen connected with Bryce Mann on a 40-yard reception for the next score with Paulson again running in the two-point conversion.
Paulson then scored on an 8-yard run with Christensen passing to Mann for the two-point conversion.
Christensen completed the scoring with a 9-yard run.
The ELC Freshman Team finishes the season with a 2-4 record.
