Four ELC netters earn Lakes all-conference volleyball honors

Although Estherville Lincoln Central had a good season with a 19-11 record, the Midgets' struggles in the Lakes Conference (2-5) led to the team not being represented as well on the all-conference lists.

Senior middle hitter Allie Sievert earned first team all-conference honors while sister and senior outside hitter and setter Casey Sievert earned second team honors.

Fellow seniors Paige Guge and Kristen King earned honorable mention.

Allie Sievert

Allie Sievert was one of the conference leaders in kills with 52. She also was 68-of-72 from the service line with 10 aces. She also was one of the leaders in blocks with 21 including 14 solo blocks.

Casey Sievert finished with 88 set assists in conference play. She had 45 kills on the season and had 77 successful serves out of 90 attempts with nine aces.

Guge finished with 47 kills. Serving she was 63-of-68 with seven ace serves. She also had 41 digs.

King, the Midgets' libero, finished with 35 digs in conference play. She was 44-of-51 serving in conference play with six aces.

Allie Sievert, Casey Sievert and Paige Guge also earned academic all-conference honors.
