Becky Cronk plays Sandy, the girl next door who loses her love, Danny, only to get his back.

"She just wants to be like everyone," said Cronk. When Danny is a jerk to her, though, her heart is broken - but eventually they fall in love.

Andie Fothergill plays Patty Simcox, a matchless cheerleader also in love with Danny. "She's just a kind of a nuisance to everyone," Fothergill said, adding that one of the hardest things to do was to stay in character. "She's kind of quirky like I am but she takes it a little higher."

Garrett Johnson plays Vince Fontaine, the dance emcee who seems to have a lot of lines backstage.

Joey Stauffer plays Danny Zuko, leader of the T-Birds whom Stauffer describes as, "A group of greasers that ride a little high."

Staffer said Danny also has a soft side, even though he tries to maintain his reputation while being with Sandy.

"I like our beauty school dropout scene," said Brittney Holl, playing one of the beauty school dropouts. "I like all our dance scenes. It's coming along."

Mrs. Kim Godtland, vocal music director, noted changes from the film to the musical. "It's more adapted to the stage," she said.
