The Estherville Lincoln Central Boys Basketball Team will host a Jamboree in Estherville on Friday, Nov. 23.
Six teams will compete in the event, which starts at 5:45 p.m. Each set of teams will play one half of basketball.
The first contest features North Iowa vs. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will then take on Clay Central-Everly at 6:30 p.m. The nightcap will feature host Estherville Lincoln Central versus Bishop Garrigan at 7:15 p.m.
ELC eighth-grade basketball
The Estherville Lincoln Central eighth-grade boys basketball played Emmetsburg on Friday and Okoboji on Monday.
On Friday, ELC lost the A game 53-21. John Witzke scored nine points while Zach Snyder had seven and Giovanni Esteves had five.
ELC lost the B game 24-10. Eliso Gonzalez led ELC with six points while Drew Condon and Austin Fick each had two.
On Monday, ELC lost the game 47-18. Snyder led ELC with 11 points.
ELC lost the B game 41-19. Fick, Drew Herum and Gonzalez each had four points.
