LAKE PARK - KJ Veldman surpassed Amber Kirschbaum on Spirit Lake's career scoring leader as the Indians defeated Harris-Lake Park 69-25 on Monday.
Veldman ended the 2011-12 season just 13 points behind the 1,259 points scored by Kirschbaum (now in her senior season at the University of Northern Iowa).
Her 14 points against the Wolves on Monday gave her the record.
Alissa Christoffer added 13 points for the Indians, who had 12 players in the scoring column. Spirit Lake will be on the road against Bishop Heelan on Saturday.
