ARMSTRONG - The Armstrong-Ringsted Board of education will hold a public hearing and act on disposition of the former Ringsted School building at its monthly meeting 5:30 p.m. Monday at the Armstrong building activity center.
The district closed the building this past June 30, and has allowed time to hear a number of proposals by parties interested in taking over the building. At its last meeting Oct. 22, the board approved resolution conveying the property to Michael Sjoblom with the district abating asbestos. The district will remove equipment and all furniture and Sjoblom will demolish the building.
After administrative reports, the board will vote Monday night on transferring the building and property to Sjoblom.
In other business, the board will approve a reorganization petition with Sentral School District.
The board will also approve an early graduation request and School Budget Review Committee applications.
The board will also approve first reading of Policy 701.4 and appoint official depositories and limits.
