Knights say thanks for generosity

November 26, 2012
Estherville Daily News

The Knights of Columbus would like to thank the people of Emmet County and the surrounding area for their generous giving to our drive to help the persons with Intellectual Disabilities, by purchasing Tootsie Rolls. Another big thank you to the businesses that have supported this drive so generously. Also we would like to thank the managers of Fareway and HyVee for letting us solicit contributions at their stores.

We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused. Remember those drizzly days in October when we did our drive-the only cold days we had this fall. A special thanks to the Knights who volunteered their time in making this drive a successful one.

I am still getting a few contributions and will gladly accept them if you would still like to give. Remember the money stays in Emmet County (ECHO) except for 10 percent that goes to Iowa Special Olympics. Just make checks to KoC Disability Drive and mail it to me at 308 N 16th St., Estherville. Any questions, you may call me at 362-2897.

Thank you again.

Clifford G. Roth

K of C Person with Intellectual Disabilities Coordinator
