SIOUX?CITY?- Allen J. Houts, 56, Sioux City died on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at his home
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday in the Calvary Episcopal Church, Sioux City with the Rev. Stacy Gerhart officiating. Visitation was from 4-8 p.m., Monday in the Morningside Chapel, Christy-Smith Funeral Home.
Allen was born in Estherville, Iowa on Aug. 31, 1956. He was the son of Kelly and Mary A (Thompson) Houts.

He is survived by his three children, Shawn and Jasmine Allgood of Chesapeake, Va., Thomas and Denise Houts of Sioux City, Crystal Huls of Sioux City, nine grandchildren and his father, Kelton E. Houts of Sioux City.
A memorial has been established in his name for Abu Bekr Transportation Fund and Hospice of Siouxland.
