ARMSTRONG - Returning home, the North Union girls got back on track with a 49-35 win over Harris-Lake Park on Friday.
Locked at 9-9 after the first quarter, the Warriors took a 22-16 lead at halftime and pulled away in the third quarter to take a 40-25 lead.
"We just played at a little better tempo and hit some shots," said North Union coach Merle Tigges.
Cheyanne Boland led North Union with 14 points and three assists. Dena Looft finished with 11 points and four rebounds. Peyton Oleson finished with seven points and three assists. Madison Bollig and Aurora Oliver each had four points and Jasmine Clausen, Sarah Rolling and Maddy Irmiter each had three. Rolling had six rebounds and Irmiter had four.
North Union (5-3 overall) travels to Britt to take on West Hancock on Monday.
