TERRIL - After winning three of their first four games this season, the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire girls have now dropped five straight after losing 56-43 to Harris-Lake Park on Friday.

"We got beat by a good Lake Park team tonight," said GTRA coach Todd Hough. "We didn't have an answer for their big girl on the inside and they got to the line 29 times to our seven."

The Titans trailed 20-12 after one quarter, 39-22 at halftime and 45-27 after three quarters.

"We did some good things tonight both offensively and defensively though," said Hough. "I was proud of how hard the girls kept playing all the way to the end and of the improvement they showed in tonight's game."

Brooke Hoffman led GTRA with 16 points and four assists. Cassy Hampson contributed nine points, four assists and three steals.

Marly Bakken finished with six points while Morgan McGrauth and Lauren Flaharty each had four points. Flaharty also had five steals.

Grace Skattebo and Alex Oleson each had two points with Skattebo pulling down five rebounds.

GTRA (3-6 overall, 2-2 in the Cornbelt) travels to Everly on Jan. 4, 2013 to take on Clay Central-Everly.
