2 juveniles charged with burglary

On Tuesday, the Estherville Police Department concluded a burglary investigation with the arrest of two male juveniles.

According to a police press release, on Oct. 13, 2012, a burglary was reported to the building at 9 N. Fifth St. that is occupied by Sun and Surf, I-Wireless, Campus Cleaners and the Hair Essentials. The building was again burglarized on Nov. 4, 2012. During the burglaries, damage was done to the building, 24 cellular telephones were stolen and an undetermined amount of cash was taken.

Officers filed two counts of burglary in the third degree, a Class D felony, on two Estherville juveniles, ages 13 and 16. Both juveniles were cited into juvenile court and released to their parents.
