Cougars jump ahead of Warriors early

ARMSTRONG - Manson Northwest Webster jumped out to a 26-6 lead in the first quarter and never looked back on the way to a 68-43 win over North Union on Thursday.

The Cougars led 41-21 at halftime and 54-31 after three quarters.

Shane Mills led North Union with 11 points and six rebounds. Colton McConnell finished with 10 points, three assists and two steals.

Aric Runge had seven points, four rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots.

Jacob Braddock had seven points had two steals. Cody Runksmeier had five points,

Alex Krants had two and Matt Adams had one.

North Union is on the road against Granada-Hutley-East Chain on Tuesday.
