EAST CHAIN - The North Union girls struggled against Grenada-Huntley-East Chain in a border contest with the Minnesota school on Tuesday.
The Warriors trailed 20-8 after one half and lost 44-29.
"We only shot about 25 percent and had 23 turnovers," said North Union coach Merle Tigges. "We're not passing and shooting as well as we need to."
Sara Rolling led the Warriors with eight points and six rebounds. Dena Looft had six points and five rebounds while Cheyanne Boland also had six points. Maddy Irmiter contributed four points and five rebounds and Aurora Oliver had three points and four rebounds. Madison Bollig had two points and Jasmine Clausen had four assists.
North Union (9-5 overall) travels to Graettinger this Friday to take on Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire.
