SPIRIT LAKE - Emma Dau scored 13 points and K.J. Veldman scored 12 as the Spirit Lake girls defeated Cherokee 66-46 on Tuesday.
Alissa Christoffer, Abbey Horsman and Carter Hassel each had eight points while Beley Loveall contributed six points and six rebounds off the bench.
Spirit Lake (11-5 overall and 7-3 in the Lakes Conference) host Class 2A No. 1 Western Christian on Friday.
