To the Editor
We would like to express our support of the Emmet County Animal Shelter's attempt to gain a facility on South 6th Street. We have always felt that Estherville, as a community, is very generous to many causes, this just being one of them. Larry and I were out of town but were very surprised to find that the City Council voted NO to the rezoning that would have allowed them to have their home. We have been, and will continue to be, supporters of the ECAS and hope the Council will reconsider their position.
