After reading the letter today in the paper, I'm very proud of Hana.
The Animal Shelter would be a good place here in Estherville. The smell will not be bad.
I remember when the John Morrells plants were here in town. We had odor all the time. Across from the plant was the sewer plant that had a really bad smell. These people can't tell me they didn't smell. I knew better.
I see nothing wrong with the shelter here in town. No one complained when the storage units went up on the south side of 6th Street. The city changed the zoning then. They can change it again.
The rendering plant has the bad odor. It smells bad when the wind is from the south.
I think the city council needs to find out what people in this town want, not just a few people and the three council members. We voted for these council members. Watch out for the next election.
