Early lead helps North?Union in fourth win

ARMSTRONG - The North Union boys picked up their fourth win of the season with a 55-41 victory over Corwith-Wesley-Luverne on Tuesday.

The Warriors jumped out to a 19-8 lead after one quarter, led 26-15 at halftime and 46-29 after three quarters.

Shane Mills led North Union with 14 points, 10 rebounds and three blocked shots. Jacob Braddock had 12 points, Colin Runksmeier had eight, Colton McConnell and Aric Runge each had six, Corey Vaskey had five and Alex Krantz had four.

Runge also had eight rebounds and six assists. Runksmeier and Matt Adams each had two steals and McConnell and Vaske each had a blocked shot.

North Union (4-15 overall) is on the road against West Bend-Mallard on Friday.
