The Armstrong City Council Monday will hear two proposals for water tower repairs from Maguire Iron of Sioux Falls, S.D.
The proposals deal with encasing a gap in the top of the water tower and painting the inside.
The council will also hold a final vote to purchase a garbage truck and containers.
The council will also consider rates for garbage customers and increase water and sewer rates as well due to improvements. There will also be appointment of planning and zoning members.
In new business, the council will hear an estimate for replacing the shelter house roof and consider applying for an Emmet County Community Foundation grant.
The council will set a budget meeting for Feb. 18 and act on approving a highway right-of-way application and agreement with Alliant Energy for a natural gas line.
The council will also act on approval of a beer license refund for Casey's.
