LAKE PARK - The Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Girls Golf Team stayed consistent to win the Cornbelt Conference Tournament Monday in Lake Park.
The Titans shot a 433 to win by seven strokes over conference runner-up Harris-Lake Park (440). West Bend-Mallard finished third with 458 while North Union placed fourth with 467 and Clay Central-Everly shot a 553. Corwith-Wesley-Luverne did not have a full team.
H-LP's Macy Gunderson was medalist with a 93 while West Bend-Mallard's Jennalyn Thul was runner-up with a 98.
Sara Harris led GTRA with a 101 while Kelley Harris shot a 107, Caroline Koekenhoff shot a 111 and Destiny Akridge shot 114.
Non-counting scores were a 127 by Alyssa Hoffman and a 135 by Cassy Hampson.
"The girls really performed very well and I am extremely proud of them for coming away with the conference championship," said GTRA coach John Fulton. "There is always room for improvement and we are going to build off of this success. Hopefully this transfers over to the first round of regionals held May 13 at Spring Valley."
Meanwhile Marissa Doocy led North Union with a 112 while Brittany Evans shot a 114, Jalissa Irmiter had a 119 and Miranda Kolasch had a 122.
Non-counting scores for the Warriors were a 136 by Jasmine Clausen and a 138 by Taylor Christianson.
