CHEROKEE - Spirit Lake Park's Dondi Schmidt was the lone Lakes Conference champion for the Indians at the conference meet on Monday.
However, she and her teammates also earned all-conference in several other events by placing second.
Schmidt won the 1500-meter run in 5 minutes, 8.39 seconds.
Emma Dau finished second in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet, 6 1/2 inches.
Also second were Mikey Heikens in the 800-meter run in 2:32.390 and Jenna McCoy in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.13 seconds.
Second-place relays the 4x800-meter relay team of Schmidt, Dau, Taylor Sieperda and Heikens who finished in 9:56.40, the distance medley team of Dau, Schmidt, Miranda Brueggeman and Kendra Stokke in 4:32.10 and the shuttle hurdle relay team of Brueggeman, Stokke, McCoy and Kaela Delperdang in 1:10.87.
The Indians finished third overall with 111 points.
Mariah Wills finished third in the 3000-meter run in 11:17.07, while Sieperda was third in the 400-meter dash in 1:01.60. Also McCoy finished third in the high jump with a leap of 4 feet, 8 inches and in the long jump with a leap of 15 feet.
Wills finished fourth in the 1500-meter run in 5:18.96 and Sieperda was fourth in the 200-meter dash in 27.45 seconds.
Stokke finished finish in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:10.98 and the 4x400-meter relay team of Kirsten Carpenter, Brueggeman, Stokke and Caitlin Eckerman placed fourth in 4:27.54.
The 4x100-meter relay team placed fifth in 55.27 seconds and the 4x00-meter relay tam also placed fifth.
Taryn Ruden took sixth in the 100-meter dash in 14.07 seconds.
