The postseason accolades continued for a few area softball players with the all-district and all-state softball teams released.
Estherville Lincoln Central shortstop Emily Kirchner was named to the Class 3A All-State Second Team as well as the Class 3A West All-District Team.
A five-year starter for the Midgets, Kirchner finished her final season with a .360 batting average. That included 36 hits including six doubles, three triples, a home run and 25 RBIs. She also drew 12 walks and finished with a .439 on-base percentage.
Spirit Lake's Alissa Christoffer and Paige Krause also were named to the Class 3A All-State Second Team and the Class 3A West All-District Team.
Christoffer, a senior outfielder, batted .482 this season with 55 hits including one double, one triple and 14 RBIs. She also had 36 stolen bases.
Krause, a senior shortstop, finished with a .454 batting average with 49 hits including 10 doubles, four triples, four home runs as 41 RBIs as the team's cleanup batter.
In Class 2A North Union's Allie Ingalls and Collete Haag both were named first team all-state. Junior Dena Looft was named second team all-state.
All three players were named to the 2A Northwest All-District Team along with sophomore teammate Autumn Boland.
Ingalls led the Warriors at the plate and on the mound. She batted .469 this season with 60 hits including 18 doubles, five triples, five home runs and 50 RBIs. She drew 17 walks and finished with an on-base percentage of .531. She also had 12 stolen bases. On the mound, Ingalls posted a 22-2 record. In 139 innings pitched, she had a 1.86 earned run average with 160 strikeouts to 25 walks. Opponents batted .206 against her.
Haag batted .435 this season with 47 hits including nine doubles, eight home runs and 42 RBIs. She also drew 16 walks for an on-base percentage of .523.
Looft finished the season with a .452 batting average with 47 hits including seven doubles, five home runs and 36 RBIs.
Boland batted .453 this year with 58 hits including 14 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 45 RBIs.
